Passantenaantallen in toeristische Europese steden verdubbeld

Dit voorjaar voerde Locatus in 32 Europese steden een grootschalige winkelpassantentelling uit. Van Amsterdam tot Athene, van Milaan tot Manchester, telden we op strategische locaties voetgangers. Large variations in household material welfare in 2024

In 2024, actual individual consumption (AIC) per capita expressed in purchasing power standard (PPS) varied from 72% to 141% of the EU average across the 27 EU countries. (...) At-risk-of-poverty rate remains stable in the EU

EU Climate Law: new way to reach 2040 targets

The Commission has proposed an amendment to the EU Climate Law, setting a 2040 EU climate target of 90% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions, compared to 1990 levels. It will give certainty to investors and innovation, strengthen industrial leadership of EU businesses, and increase Europe's energy security (...) The EU is currently on track to meet its next target of a 55% reduction by 2030. The new proposal builds on this legally binding goal and sets out a more pragmatic and flexible way to reach the 2040 target. Lees verder →
