A place to call home: Council adopts recommendation on addressing housing exclusion and homelessness

EU countries have pledged to do more to prevent and address homelessness and housing exclusion, ensuring that people in vulnerable situations have a place to call home. In a recommendation adopted today, the Council is putting forward a comprehensive range of measures that combine emergency support with longer-term solutions for preventing homelessness and ensuring access to adequate and secure housing.
